That was a nice count of "commic" Terns. But all the ther species showed less numbers than yesterday.

2 Black-winged kites were found at first hour in the morning. One of them stayed in the area for three days. This is the first sighting of this species in the headland.

2 Fulmars 3,103 Commic Terns (94,5% of the identified birds Arctic Terns) 202 Sandwhich Terns 603 Cory’s Shearwaters 563 Gannets (one of them the first juv. of the season) 70 Bar-Tailed Godwits 14 Little Terns 46 Manx Shearwaters 58 Whimbrels 11 Pomarine Skuas 8 Arctic Skuas 4 Long-Tailed Skuas 11 Great Skuas 16 Great Shearwaters 17 Balearic Shearwaters 5 Sooty Shearwaters 2 Sabine's Gulls 106 Common Scoters 31 Black Terns Also the first migrant Northern Wheateater of the season (a juv.) and several pods of C. Dolphins. Observers: Antonio Sandoval Rey, Ricardo Hevia, Pablo Gutiérrez, Antonio Gutiérrez. 30 Pomarine skuas (including one group of 10 inds.) were a nice numer today during the latre afternoon and evening count. Also 11 Great shearwaters, 299 Cory's, 3 Arctic Skuas, 1 Bonxie, 24 "Commic" terns, 11 Sandwhich Terns and other birds.
Observer: Alfonso Valderas Farfante Not much passage during these days. On 4th there were nice numbers of Cory's (615 counted in the evening) and a few Great Shearwaters, and on 5th 10 Pomarine Skuas.

A Fulmar on jul 31th was the best sight of the weekend. The NE winds kept most birds away from the headland. Anyway, we managed to get a few "Commic" Terns on Sun. 2nd evening: 58 during 2,15 hs, together with 2 Little terns (the first of the year) and 20 Black-Tailed Godwits, as well as other species.
