By the end of the day we had been counting for 7 hours. The last hour was a rainy one, but as Bonxies and Arctic Skuas kept flying west, we decided to stay behind our telescopes. The totals for today are: 1,160 Gannets, 963 Manxies, 43 Balearics, 67 Cory’s, 212 Sooties, 19 Common Scoters, 10 Poms, 50 Arctic Skuas, 103 Bonxies, 219 Sandwich Terns and 81 «commic» Terns. The wind blew from the West. It seems that at least from monday to thursday the winds will be quite good for seawatching... Let’s hope so!
