Sep 7: more Manxies and 120 Arctic Skuas

Manxies continued their huge move today, with a mean passage of 557 birds/h all through the day, and maximums of up to 1,000 birds/h. The mean passage of Sooties was of 266 birds/h, and Cory´s was 182 birds/h, so you can imagine how filled with Shearwaters the sea was. There were also quite a lot of Arctic Skuas (120 in 7 hs), as well as Bonxies (73), but not as many Poms (only 13) and only 1 Long-tailed. We also watched 14 Great Shearwaters, 219 Sandwich Terns, 216 «commics», 6 Little Terns and a few other species, while Northern Gannet numbers started to increase for the first time since August to a mean passage of 179/h.
